We are currently open for play, but have made several adjustments to our policy/procedures to better protect our players and staff during this time. Please see below:
The Pro shop is closed to all patrons. Players enter the facility through the western side gate. This is left wide open. We have signs on the doors asking to call in to pay over the phone, reserve a court, or ask any other questions. Staff members remain in the Pro Shop keeping a safe distance from one another and operating in separate rooms to answer calls, etc.
The new outdoor restrooms are still open and wiped down with clorox wipes frequently.
The court gates are left unlocked during business hours to avoid having to touch them to open them.
Our coaching staff are required to wear gloves, stay within 6 ft of their clients, not have more than 4 players on a court, not bring them in for a close talk at any time and to keep all players a safe distance from one another.
We have cancelled all groups/classes over 4 players.
The coach is the only one handling the tennis balls and picking them up with a sanitized ball hopper.
Sanitizing wipes are used on all of the benches, and rubber gloves are available for both players and coaches.
We are not allowing use of demo racquets or other equipment at this time.
In summarizing, a player can leave his/her car, walk through our side gate, reserve/pay for their court over the phone, step on the court without any contact with anything other than their own tennis racquet and water bottle.
We are very confident this is a safe environment for our players while providing some much needed outdoor exercise.
