2020 Summer Camp Info
Due to the new CDC Youth Summer Camp Health Protocol that we must abide by, we have provided a little bit of information we think you should know about prior to checking your child in for Summer Camp.
I know many parents have grown accustomed to sitting on the patio waiting for camp to end. Under these new guidelines, parents and visitors are not permitted to wait on the premises during camp.
We have also adopted a curbside pick up and drop off as we are only permitted 4 people inside the Pro Shop at one time. These are not rules that we came up with, but are CDC mandated.
We do not post rain outs on our website. ONLY Facebook and Twitter.
All Day Campers – The first part of your camp is spent on the tennis courts. Please make sure your child is wearing sunscreen each day and brings a water jug (something more substantial than a bottle). A hat or visor is also helpful. Proper shoes (non-marking soles) are mandatory and no jeans please. It is very hot on the tennis courts and it is important to have your child dressed appropriately for the heat. It is a good idea to have all items labeled with your child’s name in case something is left behind.
In the Event of Rain: If it should rain, All Day Camp, Half Day Camp and Kinder Camp is still held indoors. Please do not expect a make up for rain for these camps.
Lunch: Please send a sack lunch with your child each day if their camp stays for lunch. We can no longer take lunch deliveries due to COVID-19. Please do not forget to send your all day camper with a lunch.
Snacks that we may provide: Graham Crackers, Sliced Bananas, Apple Slices, Animal Crackers, String Cheese, Pretzels.
Please note: We do have drinks and snacks for purchase in the Pro Shop. Many parents often put a few dollars on their child’s account for these items. It is best not to send your child with cash as this is often lost or misplaced during the day.
If you have questions on anything not covered in this letter, please feel free to call The Courts between 9 am and 5 pm at 972-547-2012.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!
